How the estimate works

Gross revenue = hashrate × USD revenue per unit per day × exchange rate × uptime. Pool fees are deducted from revenue. Electricity = (miner watts + cooling watts) ÷ 1,000 × 24 × uptime × your electricity rate. Other daily costs are deducted in full. This assumes the equipment and cooling draw no power during downtime.

Operating profit excludes equipment purchase, depreciation, financing and income tax. Simple payback divides your equipment and setup cost by positive daily operating profit. No payback is shown when operations lose money. Monthly and yearly figures hold all inputs constant; coin prices, difficulty, rewards, exchange rates and actual uptime change.

Reference rates are rounded WhatToMine revenue snapshots, not guaranteed earnings or a live feed. For Scrypt, confirm your pool pays both LTC and DOGE and enter its combined gross revenue rate; do not add a merged total twice. Miner Depot is not affiliated with WhatToMine.
